Kenji Otsubo graduated from the College of Law at Nihon University in
Tokyo. He then went on to study at Louisiana State University, Stanford Business School and receiving his master of law degree from The University of Washington Law School. He worked for six years with Baker & McKenzie,
an international law firm, before starting his own real estate business. Mr. Otsubo has 30 years of experience in the New York and metropolitan area, with offices in New York and New Jersey.
With deep ties to the New York Japanese community, many large Japanese-based companies rely on Otsubo in making their real estate arrangements in the United States. Select client include: The Consulate General of Japan, Ito-En, JFE Steel, KDDI, Kinokuniya Book Store, Mikimoto America, Panasonic and Sony.
Mr. Otsubo has served as Board Member of The Englewood Hospital, Rutgers University Museum, Eastern Bergen Board of Realtors, New York Law Enforcement Foundation, Metedeconk National Golf Club and Midori and Friends. He is very active in the community; has established a charity golf event for the Japanese American Association for 18 years now, where proceeds directly benefit the Japanese American Senior Citizens in the NY Metropolitan Area.
Mr. Otsubo is a Certified Sommelier and Master of Sake.
